that's for the elbow or the bend
but I like end into river, bottom water then flood flood, and then again I know lads that like end on ebb or even casting slightly towards pier , which I hate

End of the groyne casting river side any part of the flood s/e wind 4.5-4.8m tide small crab baits up and over rigs, cast over 80 yard at 3 o'clock if shorter distance use rotton bottoms and cast at 1 o'clock

Had 3 out, a couple of years ago casting towards the brigade hut , with a canny north easterly roll on. Just fish it according to the tides and weather.

Good on a middle sized tide in a dying south easterly on the ebb tide fresh or frozen crab, otherwise calm conditions middle part of flood tide decent cast means no tackle losses ,crab or blacks tipped with razor depending time of yr.flood tide cast towards Tynemouth pier right off end of tide .dying south easterly sea right off end again cast north east to east.
did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?
