Very nice rods; light, very nice to cast & quite powerful, although I never had the bottle to try it over the real rough stuff. Took my p/b pollock over 8lb on it & a 7HTmag from the Beacons last year, handled it no problem. Only sold it on to a mate recently as it was a victim of "too many rods" syndrome. Would probably buy it straight back if he ever thought of selling it, but he likes it a lot too.

Ive got one and I think it is superb value for money. I use it on the rocks and have no problem at all. Favourite rod for heavy seas and rough work. There's a yank on YOUTUBE who uses one for tournament casting so they cant be to bad. You can pick them up very reasonably second hand (under £100) in good condition.A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.

the yank as fozzie calls him is tommy farmer ,american champion and second best off the ground caster in the world imho,he raves about them and has put it a lead 816 ft with one which equates to 272 yds .pretty good i reckonTo whoever stole my anti-depressants
I hope you're happy now

Quite a deceptively powerful rod but bigger casters may find the butt a touch too soft.
The Tourney match is the pick of the range and absolutely superb, wish id never sold mine!
The tourney rock is not really a rock rod, more of an all rounder that loads up and casts quite well very similar tip to the match and shouldnt really be called a rock rod.
