    Thank's for that feedback Gary. It's a good point you make about cenury's being made in the north east, you are not only putting your money or some of it back into the local economy but I knacked the tip ring on a kompressor and took it to their factory for repair, they fitted a new one same day for just £7.50.

            dont think you can try before you buy ,as i was there to buy 3 ng carp rods and they told me to go to local tackle shop and they was no display of rods either, mind that was 2 years ago

              No rods for sale at factory , only accessories. I would try to buy a century ccc ld second hand and match it up with a 525 extra. You might be pushing it for £150 but it may be worth your while spending another £20 or so.
              Bad time of year for buying second hand with all the fish being caught at the moment.
