Penn 525 mag help

The end of the pinion gear wears and then instead of having a nice square step to lock onto the spool it has a taper which can slip out.
Changed pinion gear and clutch plate on mine and solved it.
£2 for the plate and £6.50 for the pinion gear.

I have the same issue with my origional 525mag. It does seem quite common with the older models, it's prob just down to the age of it. Ya'll just have to remember to turn the handle after casting!
