  • high water marks big northerly sea

I was thinking about fishing cullercoats bay tonight over high water for a bit shelter. is this a good shot in a big northerly?? or do people have any recommendations for chance of a few fish but avoiding weed and 10ft waves lol

Was down cullercoats the other day mate in the northerly (looking NOT fishing!) and he piers were being swamped and water washing up against the cliffs pretty much. I would avoid it.

Cullercoats harbour between and inside the breakwaters is full of kelp stalks in the surf this morning today.Back of Goats gulley off the prom northside you maybe will avoid the worst of the weed and fishable at high water tonight.
