      not worth it

if this is true then my thoughts go out to his family
I was out on thurs night/fri morning on the rat house ,you could see the waves crashing over Roker pier, and when you looked closely you could see more than 1 or 2 lights on there. Is catching a fish really worth it ?.

not a nice feeling at all, alot of people wear chest wader when fishing piers and cliff tops, i always think of them fillin up with water and pullin people down wouldnt wear mine unless im fishing a beach.

We take too many risks, we fish closed piers, fish cliffs, rock crops, outlet pipes and such when a nice bg sea on..sad to see but sader to say i cant see it being the last this year.

I am sure we can all look back at a close shave...for me i was washed 30ft and taken clean off my feet on Hendon wall at night, grabbed onto a pot hole to stop me being washed over the side to a death.
