Heading over to Luce Bay this weekend to do a spot of shore fishing and I would be grateful for any tips, info or advice on rods, rigs and baits etc to use to target which species. It will be my first time over there.
Cheers
Mick
Getting a bit late in the year mate but there might be bass to be caught if conditions are right. Fresh crab if you can get it would be best bait I reckon and again of conditions are right you could maybe just see a hound or two. Should still be plenty of dogs on the deep water rock marks. Any fish bait will do for them and I always find they love a strip of squid over that way. No special rigs required. Flappers on the beaches and longish pulleys on the rock marks I generally use.
