    Hi Folks, been offered a Greys Apollo Mk2 15ft, heard mixed reviews, what's your reviews???

    got the 13ft one its a good all round rod in my thorts have used it off rocks piers beeches n in rivers with no complaints has also got good bite detection

      Hmmmm...

      There OK rods, but alot ov mk2 apollo's have snapped since they went on sale. Am not sayin there bad like, but be careful.

      By the way are you sure you heard correctly because as far as I know greys have never made a 15ft apollo...

        Is it not just a 14 footer with the reducer stuck in place ?

        Remember, if you want a mk2 apollo, the factory shop have the for £99 new.

          Could be the 15ft+ with reducer. As i had the 14ft version. Good rods

            I have a an apollo mk2 and have no problems with it,great in the wind.and great for casting.

              A 14 fotter it is, guy wrote it down wrong !. I am relatively new to beach casting so I'm sure I won't be going beyond the limits of the rod !

                Have had the 14ft mk2 for a couple of years now. thought it was really stiff at first but it casts really well and is a tough alround rod
