  • Heugh gate.

That storm was one hell of a whirler-it took the gate.

Easy to get on today. Shame no decent Cod but loads of Whities, dabs and a few small Tommies.
Felt a bit disillushioned after the storms last week.

    Mick.

Think everywheres the same Mick, fished parton for 6 1/2 hours last night with only postage stamp flatties to show, a couple of small bass were caught earlier but not much else

Rubbish tides and flat seas lads - a recipie for scratching if ever there was one.

Were plenty of fish about on Wednesday night as the sea was dieing but I think until we get a decent cold snap the fish will be here one tide and gone the next. For now it is a case of trying to get out when conditions are right (not easy when you work) and having low expectations for sessions at other times.
