    just wondering what most people pay for scrap lead.

    and is it per kilo.

    erm not sure im a pounds and ounces person but i avarage about 4-5 quid per stone depending on the price of scrap at the time
    most times i get it for nowt

      does any 1 no a good dealer that sells lead CHEAP? in the jarrow/heburn shields area?

        nip down your local scrap yard jonny or tyre/quickfit dealer (counterweights) plumbers roofers etc builders ,,,everyone knows at least one person who knows someone else who can lay there hands on lead

              cheers keith seems quite cheap what some people are saying but i noticed that was a year ago. think what bribones is paying seems to be the going rate per stone..

                John,

                I get lead from a friend of friend, I just told him I\'d bung him what i was paying at the scrappie (£10 for approx 5 stone).

                Off cuts of new lead flashing, gis a shout if you want some.

                      Keith i have that lead i was going to give u ages ago in the summer when we had a melt lol its still there

                          i paid 120 quid for 300kg last week works out at 40p a kilo
