  • out today with the grandkids

going to take the two grandkids down to north shields today just along from the mariner up from the boat yard for a few hours.
nice little spot for the kids very safe , was going to go down to roker pier but think there will be too many on there mackie bashing.
no doubt they will hammer me again catching fish

was crabbing just a little up river round bend from you and I thought considering rain we had on tues, water looked suprisingly clear, goes to show how different things are in other parts of river

there was a lot of snags today dont know why the last time we fished there we never lost a thing.
I was down at prudhoe riverside on monday and the tyne was in full flood.
think I should have gone on the pier today the lads may of had a result.

Spoke to your wife in baths at Consett. She said u had took kids fishing. Surprised it was blank from river but that's fishing I suppose. My knees and ankles still aching from our trip out at Craster. Bloody boat rocking from side to side.
