Hi,

One day last week as I was sitting in my car on a lunch break beside the big white building with the "hope" writing on the side at St. Peters, not sure if this is the same location you are referring to but I saw people pulling out codling of around 1 1/2 lb.

thanks, i havnt fished it before but with these strong winds coming tonight was going to try nd find sumwhere on the river instead of exposed on a beach or rockmark.

Try Pottery Bank for codlings mate if you havent left already...should be sheltered

Fished it Sunday night to use up bait and avoid X factor. Nowt.....lad next to me got 1 flattie. Lots of weed when the tide started out.
