its been a while since i've been out ,what with working away and just moving house,but today i decided to go down to the rathouse.Apart from getting blown all over the place i managed 2 crabs and 2 whiting.on returning the small whiting i watched as it swam away only for a bl**dy big seagull swoop down and take it.:Thats life i suppose.
Same thing happened to me fishing Shields in the summer, caught a (not that small, about 24cm) coalie, dropped him back on the inside of the pier and a bloody great Herring Gull swooped down and scoffed it down on one
