Fished tonight with no worm, i did have some of that chicken tikka peeler crab stick which had been marinaded in peeler oil. I thought I\'ll just try a bit of that and nowt else to see if I caught, if the whiteys were biting then it would have been a good test, they were\'nt. I also didn\'t have the guts to waste my precious fishing time on testing my theory properly. I did however use the chicken tikka in combination with razor, frozen peeler and loads of mussel and on a number of occasions due to chance, currents, crabs, fish or something else everything had been removed from my hook apart from the peeler crab stick. I know part of it\'s attraction is that it stays on the hook, but so do my normal baits (no point in them being there if they fall off) I suppose the thing to do is next time you\'re in amongst a whitey fest pop a bit on and see what happens. I\'m interested to know
Maybe it was the Peeler oil that scared the fish off, never thought of that
