  • Are the Durham/Sunderland beaches fishable today/night?

    Sat in Darlington and can't see the sea!

    Will someone be my eyes please asap...

    have a look at the web cams in 'sea state', looks nice for the beach
    not all fishermen smell, just browny!!

          just been to hendon beach and theres a canny swell on, water coming over the top of prom
          PLACES IVE FISHED..

          CHESIL BEACH DORSET, PORTLAND ROCKS DORSET, DUNGEONESS BEACH KENT, PORTHCAUL WALES,
          BLACKWATER ESTUARY ESSEX, HAYLING ISLAND

            Ian, log on to St Vedas surf shop. They have a live web cam of the surf. Although it is at Colldingham Bay (about 70 miles up the coast) it gives you a great up to date view of the sea conditions, which won't be too much different to down here.
            I use it a lot mate...find it better than 'still' photos of the beaches on most web cams.
