Well fished from 8 am till 14-00 all I can say is crap not one bite between 5 sea was to ruff and north winds kept the hounds away but all ways a next time

Cheers for the update,was wondering how you got on,it's been the same here,too ruff for the hounds/rays & when it calmed dwn it became to clearnot had much myself in the last month really,all dwn to the wrong conds....It'll b cod time soon anyways lol.

Hi hound I was told that a lad the day before had one out over 20lb and two over 10lb and more smaller ones but the forcast on that day was ideal for hounds I can only get down to fish round my job all ways next year

Yeh more thn likely bud,there's plenty of 20lbers come out dwn there,thing with hounds they hunt in packs n can be plentifull one day n very sparce or gone the day after....If it turns ruff that'll move e'm out too...

What I can not understand is why some so called anglers are having a go at this guy. The blokes just trying to put a thread this forum. Mike –surprised by you. If you had the wit to look into the context of what has been said here /previous and the intelligence to comprehend it, then you would be ashamed of yourself.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a go at anyone on NESA until now and its because the level of BS just got too much for even me to take. The thread/catch report is appreciated but the utter tripe that goes with it is not , and I’m sure if a fish had been caught the size would have been exaggerated double and it would have been caught 250 yards out.

I’m certainly no sheep and I wasn’t trying to be funny – again, read what has been said and you might find it funny how Bigone trips himself over multiple times and replies with “you fkin wot m8 ‘all ave you my dads harder than urs”

Anyway I’ll stop there and leave this one for people to make their own judgement on…surprised though Mike, your posts are generally decent and I’d have hoped you have thought the same for mine, but you have jumped to the wrong conclusion here.
Don’t throw me in with the forum trawlers looking for arguments.

Thanks for the reply laimne I take on board wot you have said. Now I don't like bully's neither do I like a Clique. From my point of view there's no place for them in a fishing forum or anywhere else. I'm not against humour or having a bit of fun. The question I would like to ask you is or any body else including the moderators is would you all like a forum where fellow anglers are hesitant about putting threads on or replying to threads, if they thought someone was going to have a go at them. Now to the gent in in question, he might be able to do 200yds with bait I don't know and probably no one else on this forum knows if he can. I've seen some very good casters from where I fish put a bait a long way when the conditions are right. So what I do when any body makes a claim of any kind , give them the benefit of doubt. I suggest others do the same. Tight lines.

Agree wholly Mike.
There are bullies on here and there are clicks, most members know who they are. There are good lads on NESA who only view the forum now because they are sick of the bullying – good anglers as well who used to post excellent catch reports which I still read from time to time. I guess theres nothing in the rules about not being a d!ck in general.


And to answer your question to me - no that’s not what I want but in this case he has brought the attention upon himself entirely and I did indeed give him the benefit of doubt as you suggest and I stuck up for him when he was getting grief from several NESA members

200 with bait is quite a claim, especially in a sport like fishing/casting where so many people are either greatly exaggerating or just plain lying.

If you’re going to come onto a forum with no evidence and make a comment like that, expect to get some stick mate. If you really are hitting 200 with a bait, well done – that’s an absolutely cracking cast and up there with the elite.

Even I had to crack this time when he started this thread with the casting comments, suggesting a cast well above 200yards this time
