I fished the twin steps for a couple of hours today then moved round onto the Pilot...Not even a bite
I know it's a different kettle of fish at night on the heugh or middleton but everyone i spoke to said the same "Nowt catching around here at the minute"
Used yellowtails, runnydown, rag, squid and even tried a three hook flapper with just mackerel on for a whitey
Think your best bet would be to head further north Daz...but you never know, Fish have been known to swim around

it was pretty flat when I fished Shields last night, I'd guess a rough ground shot would be your best bet tonight.
