Steve if we meet up some night you can have a try of my 535 Or and my spare 525. If you want it mainly for rocks would definately go for the biggun though.

i persoanlly like the sl20sh the 30 may have a bigger spool but who is going to want to cast 250 yards? 150 yrds of 20lb line will be perfect!

I own all the reels and use them as follows- 525 mag for line up to 20lb,slosh 20 for 20 to 25 lb line, slosh 30 for 30-35lb line and 535 for 40lb plus. very little difference in casting distance between 525 mag and slosh but slosh 20 can be filled to the balls with one tiny white block and flies without overrun, 525 can be a pig, one minute fine the next chuck blow up!! Once any of these reels are running fine dont touch them!

Well, after all that useful advise, I think I\'ll be getting a slosh 20. And take it from there.

Going to be using it with 20lb line, so from the comments here, it should be fine.

Anyone know how easy it is to tune these reels, and what the process might be?

no need to tune them mate make sure you check which brake blocks are in if you like a fast reel then i would use the clear/white blocks

So what your saying is I get a reel and some slow, medium, fast brake blocks and I just fit the ones that suit my casting style, oil it up and away I go??

hi all ,abu 6500 flat out distance clean beaches, diawas and penns nothing between them in my opion but why not mention shimano speedmaster same price bracket as similar sized reels. i enjoy using the abu 9000 reel for heavy ground hold more line than the diawas and penns but are a bit slower on retrieve regards john

stuey i paid £135 for my slosh20 from the catalogue LOL i as didnt have al the cash. My slosh hasnt got any brakes which makes it faster but i did get 2 sets, the large red 1\'s and the little white 1\'s. i dont use any as i am experienced with only my thumb using to slow it down, you can get much further distnace with them out.
also i have heard sea angler adds have some in for £75 WHAT A BARGAIN!............Check the review section as i have done a review based on my slosh20 performance!
