  • Film crew on seaton sluice beach filming anglers for a new sky sports show

was out and about looking for rock marks over the seaton sluice area and when we passed by in the car passed the car park there was 2 anglers fully kitted in greys outfits and a film crew walking over the sand.
Decided to follow them so far down th beach and asked them \"if they were doing a greys advertising\" they said \"no\" this is going to be a new show called \"TIGHT LINES\" and they are doing serious on it and they were starting off for an overnight session on the beach! .......they sounded from down south and sadi they had won many awards not only for sea but for fly and alot more.....is this a good sign for the descent fish moving in on the beach?....or what>?<

its a little thing they seem to do called editing ,they lump all the good sections together to make an hour long programme

Seaton Sluice beach seems to be getting quite a name for itself in the film and television world. I was going to work on nightshift a few weeks back and there were loads of mobile film vans /caravans parked up in the main car park. I read in the paper the next day that they were filming a two-parter for television, a detective story starring Trevor Eve. The programme was on the telly a couple of weeks ago and it was great to see some of the local scenes on the box. It seems that word is getting around that its a good place for such productions.

There\'ll be a group of blokes in that area who won\'t be happy to have a camera following them across the dunes to see what they catch!!!

                              called cod
they fished a beach down south

                              then tony shouts over

seemingly a lad(total stranger) caught it earlier on and they borrowed it
he was reeling a dead cod in in the surf
