Is the above outcrop/cliffy type outcrop known as Marconi Point?

yes that is morconi point and just north of there you can see north crab hill

Used to be a popular high water fishing mark. Some big fish came off there at times

Can you still access the point to fish off. I think the building has been renovated and is now somebodies house.

park next to the big flash house you see in the pic, walk down the stairs and into the bay for cullarcoats, then head back up towards the house, climb up the rocks and make your way around to the point, then up the muddy bank and fish away.
not a good place to go when its wet or a big sea mind you ;D

the east side is a sheer drop and i wouldnt risk walking around the boundary fence of the house as the cliff edges look unstable, i sussed it out a long time ago for our high water comps

na, you wont be able to get on both those marks, im going to put a catch report up, just got back and had 30lb of fish 2hrs up, 2hrs down. fish a chuck, the place will be mobbed lol

That's ok then - the match on Tues is 3 down from HW so we should get an hour at least and I'm only fishing 2 of them so not missing too much

if you do go round the the fence and the guy sees you he will ring the police load ov kids got asboses and stuff like that for being on there and thre is only 5 foot from the fence and the sheer drop so be careful when you go round tht way
