    Seaton Sluice ?

if you are fishing there ,its next to the Kings Arms, a big white pub, next to a small tidal river, with a few dozen boats in it, not a bad spot, thers a goodspot behind the pub, its got to be a good low tide, fish with the pub behind you a little to the right as you face the sea, think its called the Sumps or stumps good for flatties,

Commonly called the sluice breakwater, to the right is the sumps, then rocky island.
