Penn 525 Mag 2

Just looking for a new reel to pair with my crest. Been using 535s for years and love em' their perfect for the rough ground I fish but have been using a second hang 525 mag while my 535 gets fixed and really think its a lot nicer to use, smoother, better in the cast etc. I'm also casting further now and am able to reach gulleys that I couldn't with the 535. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the new 525 mag 2? I know there on pre-order but has anyone used one? They look a a lot bulkyer than the old mags and I was hoping they might be tougher as I just question the gearing on the slidey Mag I'm using when fishing kelp and rock. Will they be up to the job.

The reel ya after wil definatly be up to the job. But the new 525 hasnt arrived anywhere in the country yet as far as I know due to it having some cosmetic that penn dont like. So at the moment, theres only the new 515 mate, which I know is a bit small for the rocks.

If its any help mate the new 525 should be on the market over here by at least mid october. Its the anticipation thats the problem!
