  • Tomorrow starts the Tighnabruaich Pollock hunt

Despite the dreadful weather forecast, Lynn and I are heading to Tighnabruaich tomorrow for a week.

She is hoping for Mackerel for the smoker, I am hoping for a few Pollock!

    Watch this space!

2016 - Cod, Dab, Dogfish, Gurnard, Ling, Mackerel, Saithe, Scorpian fish. .

How did it go Mark? Tighnabruaich is a bonny place, I kayaked round there quite a few years ago but none of it struck me as deep enough to get any decent pollock.

Over the hill at Portavadie supposedly holds Pollock Kevin. Its rained here for three straight days, so haven't got out yet.
