Fished the Walkway today for the first time.
Arrived at 2.30 with my daughter. Fishing was difficult to say the least, snag after snag and when it wasn't snagged was bringing in loads of weed.
Anyway persisted and it got better and by about 4-4.30 was managing to hold bottom and we started catching. I had a codling just size but returned and we had 6 coleys between us ranging from 28cm to 36cm. Coddling was on Lug and Razor. Coleys were caught on mussel and mackerel.
We left about 6.30 and headed home after an enjoyable afternoon. Looking forward to returning for another session when the tides are smaller.
