  • urgent HELP!!

    Hi people I am needing to find out the tides for today is high 5pm just thought it might be wrong as the water seems to be going out now could some one give me the info please well appreciated

    low water is at 12 high water is at 6 to night

      Times for Sunderland today:

      LT 11:51 0.8m
      HT 18:03 4.9m
      LT 00:03 1.0m

      won't be much difference for 50 miles up or down the coast.

        Bah beaten to it

        Just re-read your post, if HT was 5pm today (it's 6pm but we are still in BST so for most tide tables you need to add an hour) then it should be going out now.

        Tides are on roughly six hour cycles - there are four tides in a day - so HT at 5 would have given LT at 11 meaning at 9am the ebb would be in full retreat - simples!

        But as we posted above LT is 11:51 and HT 18:03.
