  • Out Tomorrow - Walkway

    I am heading out tomorrow. Going to give the walkway a shot as don't think many other places will be fishable. Dare say it may be hard going with such a big tide, but still looking forward to getting out.

    had a walk down to walkway talked to one lad he had one undersize fish there was alot of weed being pulled in and could not see anything getting pulled in still gonna try it in morning so might see you down there

      Yeah, I had a walk along about 5.30 today and there had been a couple of codling caught. Could be a complete different story tomorrow with a bit of luck.

        can you still fish at mill damm might be better shot on these bigger tides with it been wider just a thought.
        did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

            Where is Mill Damm? Never fished the Tyne before. Just went up today to have a look for tomorrow.

                if your going for high tide mate you could try the brigade hut area up to the first gate on sheilds pier might be worth a shot if there is a swell you will need a rod stand though as no railings along there

                  Alreet lads a might pop down to wet the line tomorrow at the walkway if I can make it if I'm there you will see a fat lad looks a bit like a mop wearing a fladen suit (yellow/blue) pmsl if I'm there will have a talk

                    Be hard graft holding bottom at the walkway with the swell and size of the tide. You'll need to use 14lb grip leads!
