A bit of a strange one this is, Just watching `River Cottage` (Sunday 19/9 8.00pm) watching him Hugh.F.W catching & eating velvets he reccons they are great to eat, Im not to sure on the law regarding the size of these crabs ,I know the size for an edible crab,, 8 inches across the back, & I know there is no size limit for shore crab or greenies that are peeling, but there must be a size limit on something your going to eat ?? or is there? also are they any good for fishing,I have also heard they are a bit of a pest/alien - not from these shores, kind of imported and have flourished on our native crab, any ideas lads ? `coss` I`d love to try a few for my tea,
