  • Recommend me a rod :)

Evening all and hi, im just getting back into sea fishing after 4-5yrs, looking for a mixed ground rod, will be fishing all the northeast piers, and possibly a few rougher ground marks.
I used to use a tip tornado, and a slosh 20. i'll be getting another slosh as i loved it, but unsure about which rod.

Budget will be roughly £150 will prefere to buy a good 2nd hander

    cheers steve

Loads more choice now than there ever has been including new brands like Any fish anywhere, Sonik and Ian Golds. Century's rod range has really diversified too. You can buy a Sonik for e.g. £99 SK3 5-7 that does everything or stick to your old TT-S formula.

There is no bad rod in your price range, the AFAW's and Soniks are great. Have a hunt around the tackle shops and flex a few rods.

Sonik SK4, good heavy ground but slim and light with great bite detection for smaller stuff.
