A pier between n/shields and cullercoats

I'm looking to fish a pier between n/shields and cullercoats this weekend wondering what it's like e.g snaggy? What bait would u recommend hope this makes sense also what it's like on it teers for any replys.........

Apart from the piers mentioned, there isn't any others between the two. You could try the corner of the prom or Oxfolds gulley at King Edwards Bay or the old bathing pool at the south end of Tynemouth Longsands, (both high water shots). Usual bait will do, i.e. Lug, rag, peeler etc. Hopefully somebody who has been out in the last day or so, will be better able to let you know what's catching what.
