Was planning on hitting SSP early doors tomorrow to see if I could catch a few mackerel - not sure if there is much point even trying in this wind!

I've caught maccy in rain and wind of biblical proportions mate. The only issue with the wind when maccy bashing is the amount of slack you will have in your line. The fish can still be caught. The plus side of poor weather is that the knackers don't bother fishing. Shouldn't be too crowded"In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
PB. Ling - 12lb 6oz. Cod - 11lb 6oz, Coley - 3lb 6oz, Pollock - 4lb 1oz, Flounder - 1lb 11oz, Plaice - 1lb 10oz, Whiting 1lb 9oz.
North east bass fishing addict.
PB 2lb 9oz.

Just wondering what impact this wind will have on the waves coming over the sides of the pier
