You sure like your mackeral alan, aye there's not much space now but it was a pleasant night out apart from the inevitable lost tackle, it can be quite rough infront of there lol. Any idea when the work will be finished on quay ?

yep like the odd mackerel or six, not heard a thing about how long thw works will be, by the looks it could be a long time, but there again it might just be 4-5 weeks.

Met a bloke down sandend car park last week who told me the fish quay was a good spot. Can you actually fish there or is it closed off I was planning going on tuesday possibly don't want a wasted trip.

                      Cheers

there's just a little bit of space behind the blue cosalt building, well enough for 3 or 4 people to fish comfortably but it can be snaggy on bigger tides

To be honest mate there's loads of fish in the river and reports on here say the walkways been fishin great. Am not sure what the weathers going to be like so ah cant really say whether lynemouth will be worth a try, crab or lugs been taken the fish in the river bud, good luck which ever you choose

alright mate just seen a post about the walk way on the catch reports sounds good, tuesday is supposed to be force 6 east to south easterlies 10ft sea, mind you weather forecasts are rarely that accurate might just drive up and see, can alway drop back on the walkway, it's a bit of a trek from darlington but I like a day out when i get the time. If I have to fish the walkway, I here it's pretty snaggy, so would rotten bottom pulley rigs be right and breakout leads, do you need a decent chuck or doesn't it matter.

Cheers for the help mate much appreciated
