  • Fresh Lug

Longshot I know but does anyone know where I might be able to pick up some fresh lugworm between Hartlepool and Sunderland on Tuesday? With the sea away as it is I fancy a session Tuesday night but would prefer fresh rather than runnydown if I can get any.

North East taclke on Newburn Bridge are always good for fresh baits. Friarage on the Headland another.
Seas off the front are huge as of this morning, only place fishable on the Headland will be the the Pilot Pier. I have fresh rag and sprats here awaiting my next cast. Maybe this or tomorrow evening.

Had some cracking ragworm from Friarige last week, will give them a call in the morning and see what they've got. Going to give Horden a go tomorrow night, not the best of tides with high at 8:15pm but got to be worth a go after these seas.
