    zipplex sst whats your veiws on this rod and is it ok 4 our coast line dont like floppy tips

    Had a green version of one.. a softish high speed quick recovery tipped rod for long distance beach work / casting / match work (SST = Super Speed Tip)

    Not a rod for the north east, and not a rod that had me getting very excited.

    The Green carbon ones also tnd to go soft in time.. the black powertex carbon ones are much better...

    but not a rod for rocks / big reels / heavyish work with 30lb line IMHO.

          Only rods worth lookin at for around here are century. Infact there the only rod worth looking full stop imho
