i normally fish the left hand side next to the steps coming down from the houses theres buoys right infront them steps so i go a little to the right to miss the buoys when the tides coming in. yeah its a good fishing spot i normally fish there or south shields pier

Be hard graft holding bottom with these big tides, I find a big cast maybe 140+ yards and ya past the snags but be prepaired to loose some gear. Plenty of fish there tho

yeah you always have to be prepared to lose some gear on the big tides was down a couple of times threw the week and havnt lost a thing except when the fish was infront my face and it snaped because the line was rubing on some 1 elses so if any1 catches a codling with the hook in its mouth it was mine :P
