    im of there in a fortnight was up there at the start of may at auchenlarie caravan park had loads of doggies this time im goner try for smoothounds and bull huss any tips on what rigs to use would be appreciated last time baits used was mackeral and ragworm on long flowing trace cheers

    try night fishing for the bullhuss this is when i have had them,but getting passed the doggies is a big problem.

    when i have fished the west coast at night had bull huss at low water biggest was 8lb i use a pulley rig with macky, sand eel and rag.

    i have only caught one smoothound and this was in the daylight at low water.

    and you will need heavy line, i use 80lb plus on my traces.
