Thats my main area mate, to be honest anywhere along that bay is good. Lots of gullies and sandbars along the whole stretch. Its agood place for flatties and have had a few turbot there too. If you drive up past Cresswell village and continue up the dunes road you can really pull over anywhere along there. I like to park near Druridge pools in the little car park about a quarter mile north of the boat yard . Here: Flash Earth ...satellite and aerial imagery of the Earth in Flash

Or further along, parking here: Flash Earth ...satellite and aerial imagery of the Earth in Flash

And fishing just down from the car along that stretch. Its all pretty good along the whole length though to be honest.

Yes, not sure which way you come. I come past Lynemouth power station so am heading north, through Cresswell with the ice cream shop on my right. You just keep going, taking that turn off before the road heads back inland and follow the road north, which takes you right along the dunes. Hope this helps, am not too good at giving directions.

        Cheers
        Dean
