    What tackle shops replace rod rings or is there anyone on here who does them?
    Also roughly how much does it cost to replace 3 rings??

    pain when ya gear blown over on stand my rod had a hammering last winter smashing a few eyes repair one or 2 meself but decided to get the lot done from a shop rather me doing it cost around 60 quid for the full rewhip from fisherman locker sunderland plus a dyamite tip ring but theres shops closer to you will probs be easier and less to travel

      hiya tilly,replaceing one ring,normally cost no more than £12.That includes the ring and labour and materials.And that would be fuji[alconite]

        Micky ID are great at repairing/replacing rings, I have had a few rods done there and they are really reasnoble, it is the old guy(ron I think?) that does them. I'll be in touch this week once I get a look at the forecast mate, my arms are still aching!

          I would pop down to billys in north sheilds or lewises in whitley, get ya own rings thoug and do it yourself, you could replace the rod for 60 quid,

                  Wish I'd known, I paid £4.00 just for the ring, from which I cut out the ceramic guide, to glue into the frame of the damaged ring on my rod. Along with a tube of super glue it came to £7.00. I would have had it done "properly" at Billys at that price..
