Century Test Curve Info

Does anyone know what the Test Curve data is for a 2010 Century Kompressor SS?

I know that for Sea Angling Rods TC data is not necessarily the selling point but wouldnt mind knowing what it is, as it would be useful in an attempt to gauge what size the fish is on the end, or alternatively to roughly work out how much force is bieng exterted on the Rod.

I know that there are several other factors involved that influence how much much your Rod bends upon retrieval and that the data itself is probably not Linear, but bieng an Engineer I'm quite sadly interested in these things too.

definitely not 2 1/2 pounds or 2 3/4 ....and thats a personal guarantee....sorry i could not help myself ....however i dont know if this will work but u being a engineer could probably see any potential flaws in the testing method. ....get some
one to lie on the floor flat withan upturned fishing scale . using the rod and a reel loaded with 30 pound braid ( no stretch ). attach braid to upturned scale stand on something say 2 feet higher of the ground. and reel in until the rod reaches the 90 degree bend and get mr on the floor too see the scales
i reckon it would work ...but then again i am a simpleton with pervasive developmental disorder....

i think it would give a basic indication of the mass weight required to give the rod 90 degree bend. i have seen videos or rod tests were they add barbell weights one at a time to find the right weight while some helpless dude is standing on a double decker bed..... i cant locate the ideo i tried but assumingly if u were to do so i would start with with five pounds and increase it in quarter pound inccrements or perhaps clipping 4 oz sinkers one at a time(after the initial five pounds. ...it is interesting i guess ..i do find it interesting as years ago as a rugby gear sales rep there was poster saying every ounce weight they can remove from the gear it feels a kilo lighter during the sprint ...so god knows what the accleration/amplification of weight/mass is when danny moeskops bends the rod and hoys it into the horizon ........ifnu find out wreckingball let us know ...good luck

Thats exactly what you get from the test curve info. Then basically the ammount of length required for the bend determines the Rods 'action' rating.
0 -30% of the rod length bends thru' 90 degress from the tip, then it a fast action, 30 - 60% medium action, 60 - 90% slow action.

You can learn a lot about your rods potential strengths and weaknesses from this info. Thanks for the input, I'll try and contact Century too.

well grey/hardys of alnwick has some sort of special machine they attach a rod to...that in a control environment no variables to mess up data
