    Hi RedcarUk,

    I joined 2 weeks ago.
I was advised that it's best to go to the club-house on a Thursday evening around 19:30hrs armed with a couple of passport photo's and the joining fee.
    Simples...

Caught a couple of Mackeral last week from the pier - so quite happy.

I found a saturday morning the best when i joined a few years ago, no longer a member but when i was there i found them to be a good bunch, and a well ran club, i know the commitee have had problems of late and a few have left but those who are there will always try they're best, as is the case with the majority of clubs. They have junior comps on a saturday and senior comps on the sundays so your best catching them then as they hold the weigh in at the clubhouse.

best time is a thursday night after about 6.30 as it hasnt been opened at all over the last week or two apart from the thursday night or if there is a comp on. so phone on thursday night and try to find out when someone will be there , when you can make it there. the only other thing i could suggest is find out if you can post photos and a cheque with all your details ,and include a self addressed envelope so they can send you your pass ect back to you by post, check with the club first.
