        my first rd was the sealey sea serpent, then in yrs to come came along the martin james springheel three piece rod absolutely brilliant.

        i did have a very nice rod off century during the time of the pateque morton era and century said it was a full carbon rod 13ft, the wieght of it at the time i could imagine it been full carbon as it been so light to other rods been around at that time.
        did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

          av still got an old milbro beach rod with full cork handle lying around somewhere n a still use a century formula slammer as my day t day rod

            Yeah - still got mine, bought it second hand (early 70's) for £15,customised, reel seat is shod but improvise with a jubilee clip - Rod is still great and still give it a run out now and then. Butt section is heavy and gives your back some jip after a while when holding in your hands.
