North Pier?
Am I right in believing that the only legal way to fish the North Pier (Tynemouth), is by joining a particular club (don't know which one)and even then, you can only fish matches?

yes. Tynemouth,longbenton, or smac.the clubs who have permission to fish club matchs under strict port of tyne rules and big insurance policy,lads climb gate at night time at there own risk. davy.PB
