I don't agree with humiliation and the majority of kids are polite - unfortunately you are anonymous over the internet and you don't know exactly who you are giving directions to.
Besides if they are serious why don't join a club, fish with someone more experienced or ask nicely to meet someone at a mutually agreed known spot first to fish, no harm in that kind of help is there. Then when they know they're not little toe rags tell them where the better places are to fish.
I've taken my 4yr old son fishing for the first time this year and the behaviour of a few kids spoiled it, I had to bring him home early because of the swearing and unacceptable behaviour they were demonstrating.
On the plus side at least he caught his first fish ever using a poundland rod and reel with some 6lb line, a size 1/0 hook and a bubble float. His prize was a 3/4lb coalie which he duly kissed and returned safely!
