They look abit big hooked for mackerel daylights and also they often come in 4 and cod ones in three's.
The local tackle shops do a wide range from about 60p upto £1.50 a set. I always go for white or silver but never buy them just make my own out of white washing line thou prob costs me more than if i was to buy in the shop but not as much fun................__................................ .............................

tie the straws onto your rig exactly like the day lite rigs you buy from the tackle shop, use a light spinning rod and a 1or 2 oz lead,i have caught loads of mackerel on them ,the American anglers use them to catch Spanish mackerel off the Florida coast,people always ask me where i bought them ,when i say i got them with a coke from mcdonalds[i always ask for a few extra straws]i do get a few blank looks.
