the stretch of fields leading up to Dunstanburgh Castle is canny for camping if you dont mind the sheep / cows

has you bang in the middle of some good fishing marks.. especially in the castle its self.. do some spinning in the big gully near the end of the wall leading to the sea. Always good for some big wrasse. Or float fish with limpets.

Or the rocks to the side of Craster harbour throws up some decent rock cod in daylight.. big squid/mussle/rag/lug baits do the damage.

It is such a variety of marks from beach/clean to rocky/weedy between the castle and craster - will keep you busy for a couple of days. An near enough to shops for supplys.
