    AMBLE SAC SUMMER OPEN SHORE COMPETITION 2010


    Sunday July 18th fishing from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.

    Register at local tackle shops , or at Amble Angling Centre from 10.00am to 12.30pm on the day.

    Weigh-in at Racliffe Club, Amble from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

    Entry fee £10 seniors, juniors (under 16) fishing with a paying adult have free entry. There are designated prizes for the junior section. Juniors MUST obtain an entry card and have it marked with a “J”

    The competition will be fished from Seahouses south pier (excluding the pier) to the pipe at Lynemouth.
    The rivers Coquet and Aln are not included in the boundaries, nor are Amble north and south piers, although any disabled angler wishing to fish from Amble pier will be allowed to do so.


    Senior prizes are dependent on entry numbers, but there is a prize table with a value of approximately £600, and prizes are guaranteed for Heaviest bag 1st and 2nd places, heaviest fish 1st and 2nd places, and heaviest flatfish 1st and 2nd places.


    Other rules are as per the Amble SAC winter open, please note the size limit for flounders is 27cm.

    do you have to be a member of the club or not and if not this will be my first comp

        It's open to anyone mate, and it's one rod per angler, maximum of three hooks.

        If you want any more info, just pm me for advice on likely catches, baits and locations !
