anthony stobbart has just returned and only got small stuff,
i go to the mull every year and i think july august and september are the best months but only the first two weeks of september.
i like night fishing best, start about 7 at night and you will get the pollock, during the night doggies, bull huss and conger and first light pollock macky and wrasse, but you will still get fish during the day but bigger ones at night.
bit early yet to come over but you will get sport from the small fish, personally id wait til the mackerel have arrived in great numbers, one or two are being reported now but nothing major
Am off with my mates and the club am in (South Shields and District SAC) to isle of whithorn at the end of may. we did fairly well there last year, plenty dogfish and pollock to 4lb+. many other species to be had and there r sum cracking marks i want to try this year.
