May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

They must have b*ggered off down the southeast then BlackV as ther are none in Avonmouth (southwest). Only had one 3.5lb\'er in the last month down here.

question ? this wind malarky is ie Ne the direction its coming from or the direction its going for example if you say theres a north east wind is it coming down from scotland but blowing out to sea,and does it make a differnce i mean the fish dont know do they ?
              cheers Bri

                Bri
I think I\'m right when I say \"if its a northeasterly, then its coming from the northeast, heading southwest\" therefore at this time of year it brings with it cold winds which drop the sea temp and because of the direction, it has the effect of greater sea movement thus stirring the bottom up which bring the fish (cod) that bit closer to shore.
And hopefully into my carrier bag

Spot on tala, bri when it is rough on the shore it churns the sea bed over releasing what is just underneath so the fish come in to feed.

Hope it doesn\'t flatten off too quickly, can\'t get out till Friday night. As long as there is not too much weed about should be ok. Cheer\'s Heather.
