    booked five days down there mid july,never fished for hounds-rays ect ,always wanted to have a go so will be looking forward to it,hope for calm weather/sea,s but chance of bass if to rough.guess fresh crab will be needed ,anyone know if I will be able to buy it down there or best take it with me .wife is coming to so wont be all out fishing,few beers ect to.ill just be taking one rod (bb)

    There is one on the main street but very expensive, better off taking bait with you will keep fine for 5 days out of the fridge with fresh water, just watch for them popping, always worth taking frozen launce,fish bait and squid if your after a ray,

            Blow lug wrapped in dirty squid another good bait for hounds and skate. Cheap too and sometimes the fish prefer it to fresh crab.

                  Thanks Mate, off to Scotland next week but will be heading south when I get back. Do you normally fish Dimmo on the flood ?

                    Good either side of low,but most do low to top,can fish on the ebb pretty well too m8
                    Loadsa run at dimmo,can be snaggy tho(clay's)but it does vary tide to tide,as they can get buried or exposed...
