Ok, so we wander a long the beach at low tide and sspot all the holes and gullies that will fill in when the tide returns. We lob some bits of dead stuff at the hole and sometimes we catch fish, sometimes not. My theory fish have a round they do hole to hole gully to gully etc.
So what if at low tide, we \'ground bait\' a hole. Mash aload off the same dead things we throw at them, stuff it in a pair of my misses\' old tights (no references to existing fishy odours please) and stake it/peg it/weigh it down. During the flood will the scent trail divert more fish to the hole therfore increasing my chances?
