Theres marks on the Mull that I fish that haven't got a name, but are near, say, Port Logan, so thats where I'd say I caught the fish. Same as my Bass, they come from Luce Bay, west side.

The trouble with the end of the Mull, as well as Burrow head, is theres a dirty big car park at the top of each, so they're relatively easy to get to. The places myself and my mates go are off the beaten track, so better fish and more of them. They're near Port Logan.

I'm all for telling people to get out there and do their homework and explore - I do it every summer at the Mull, but anyone who won't even disclose roughly where the fish were caught really need to take a serious look at themselves in my opinion.

Spot on Davy, its better when we all help each other, normally people aren't asking for chapter and verse, just a heads up to get going.

I totally agree with chukka on this..you learn marks by fishing them night and day what rigs, bait, tides, casting distance and not by sitting behind a computer screen.

As this very practical of course sorry but I barley get the time to fart, yet alone spend all hours fishing, as much as I'd like to !!! Unless your a Jaffa or a lonely single bloke with nothing much else to do this just isn't an option for the majority !!!

By these selection of letters called words, which in turn form sentences, which form paragraphs, which can contain information that an individual may require to help them learn.

This of course is called reading or studying, both of which, providing it is the right information you seek, can aid learning. Thus can help an individual in his/hers quest to better themselves.

After this reading or generic questioning has been done, this can of course help the practical side of things.

In other words everyone needs help at some point you plum !

Hows that? I think people should either name the mark or dont name anything what good is knowing a fish come from a region?

Don't lick anus flatcock, sorry. All I'm saying is not everyone has the luxury to put every minute of their life into fishing. Would be nice but they don't. Why join a forum in the first place ? I think your equally full of cacka on that score.
